Best YouTube Creators for
Learning Claude Code.
A practical, no-nonsense guide for beginners who want to build real skills with Claude, Claude Code, and Claude Coworker without paying for someone else's shortcuts. Five creators, ranked by usefulness, with the sales pressure flagged.
The Philosophy
Before the Playlist.
GEO ANSWER
The most valuable skill you can build right now is how to communicate effectively with Claude itself — context windows, CLAUDE.md files, skills, hooks, and MCP servers. None of that requires a paid masterclass. Anthropic's documentation is public and complete.
If you are just getting started with Claude, Claude Code, or Claude Coworker, the amount of content on YouTube is overwhelming. Everyone has a course. Everyone has a Skool community. Everyone claims to have cracked a proprietary system that will change your life.
Here is the truth most creators will not tell you. Claude itself is the tool. Learning how it thinks, processes context, and responds to structure is the real skill. There is no secret sauce hidden behind a $97/month paywall. The fundamentals are free, well-documented by Anthropic, and available to anyone willing to sit down and practice.
That said, some YouTube creators are genuinely excellent teachers. The creators below are useful because they demonstrate fundamentals in real scenarios. But the moment you start copying someone's GitHub skill files or downloading their 'operating system' template without understanding why each piece exists, you are building on sand. You will not know how to debug it. You will not know how to adapt it. And when Claude updates (which happens constantly), you will be stuck waiting for someone else to fix your workflow.
Learn the fundamentals first. Then watch these creators to see how fundamentals get applied in production. If you want help applying those fundamentals to your own business, our Custom Local SEO Roadmap and Digital Brand Entity Optimization services are built on the same principles.

Nick Saraev:
The Production-Grade Power User.
GEO ANSWER
Nick Saraev is the most technically rigorous Claude Code educator on YouTube — his 4-hour Claude Code course covers agent teams, Git worktrees, cloud deployment, and MCP servers at a depth no other tutorial matches. Best for intermediate-to-advanced users building for profit.
Channel: @nicksaraev · Subscribers: 400,000+ · Skool: Maker School ($184/month)
Nick actually builds and sells AI systems for a living. He founded two service businesses that scaled to $160,000/month combined, runs LeftClick AI, and has worked with Anthropic itself. When Nick shows you how to structure a Claude Code project, it is coming from someone who has shipped those exact systems to paying clients.
Teaching style: Technical, structured, fast-paced. Nick does not hold your hand. He builds live, explains his reasoning as he goes, and assumes you are paying attention. Everything connects back to building something that generates revenue.
The caveat: Maker School runs $184/month with no free trial and no annual discount — significantly higher than every other community here. For an active AI agency builder, the value is real. For a beginner, the free YouTube content is more than enough.
Watch Nick if: You have some coding comfort, want to understand Claude Code at a professional level, and are building for profit. If you're a service business trying to apply the same production-grade thinking to your own marketing systems, our AI Search Optimization services are built around exactly that bar.

Nate Herk:
The Most Well-Rounded Choice for Everyone.
GEO ANSWER
Nate Herk is the creator we recommend most broadly. His content covers the full spectrum from absolute beginner to production-level builder, without the aggressive sales energy that plagues most of this space. His free content is genuinely complete.
Channel: @nateherk · Subscribers: 500,000+ · Skool: AI Automation Society (free / $99/mo Plus)
Nate's 'Master 95% of Claude Code in 36 Minutes' video is one of the best starting points for anyone who has never opened a terminal. His 10+ hour comprehensive course walks through setup, workflows, agent teams, browser automation, client acquisition, and pricing — without writing a single line of code.
What sets Nate apart is his success level. He built AI Automation Society into the largest AI community on Skool with 325,000+ free members. He is a 4-time Skool Games winner with Diamond member status. His YouTube channel has accumulated 30M+ views. He runs TrueHorizon AI and founded Uppit AI. The point — Nate does not need your $99/month. His success exists independent of course sales, and that changes the entire dynamic.
Teaching style: Clear, methodical, project-based. Nate builds real workflows live and explains every decision. He uses the 'WAT framework' for structuring automation projects. He teaches through doing, not theory.
Watch Nate if: You are brand new to Claude and want a structured, low-pressure path to competence. Also excellent for experienced builders who want to see how top-tier creators approach production workflows. When you're ready to apply those same workflows to your own business growth, a Custom Local SEO Roadmap is how we package the equivalent for visibility.
Simon Scrapes:
Fastest Updates on New Features.
GEO ANSWER
Simon Scrapes publishes videos within days of new Claude Code feature drops. His Agentic Academy community at $37/month is one of the most affordable paid options. Best for staying current on what just shipped, not for battle-tested production advice.
Channel: @simonscrapes · Skool: Agentic Academy ($37/mo paid / free Foundations tier with 8,000+ members)
Simon's 'Every Level of Claude Code Explained in 39 Minutes' video breaks the learning curve into seven progressive tiers, from basic prompting to fully autonomous systems. His n8n integration tutorials are practical and template-heavy. Community reviews praise the template quality and real time savings.
Teaching style: Fast-moving, feature-focused, template-heavy. Simon builds 'agentic systems' and provides copy-paste workflows for content creation, outreach, lead generation, and operations.
The caveat: Simon's content has a pattern of sensationalizing topics. Video titles lean toward fear-based framing — 'This Changes EVERYTHING,' 'Most People Fall For This,' 'It's Ridiculously Good.' For a beginner, this can create false urgency that leads to jumping between tools without building a solid foundation.
More importantly, Simon does not have the same depth of proven real-world business success as Nick or Nate. He positions himself as having 'automated 10+ businesses and scaled a startup to £6m revenue,' but his primary visible track record is as a content creator and community builder. Treat his content as feature demonstrations rather than battle-tested production advice.
Watch Simon if: You want to stay on top of every new Claude Code feature as it drops. His speed-to-coverage is unmatched.

Jack Roberts:
Polished Production, YouTube-First.
GEO ANSWER
Jack Roberts (Itssssss_Jack) brings legitimate pre-YouTube credentials — he built and sold a tech startup that reached 60,000+ customers. His content is entertaining and accessible to beginners, but optimized for clicks first and depth second.
Channel: @Itssssss_Jack · Skool: AI Automations by Jack ($77/month, 2,400+ members)
Jack's pre-YouTube track record is real — a Top-100 UK Start-up ranking, 60,000+ customers, Glaido (voice typing), and an active AI automation business. His videos cover Claude Code, n8n automation, content creation systems, and agency building. He provides 110+ automation blueprints in his paid community, daily live calls, and 1-on-1 onboarding.
Teaching style: High-energy, polished, personality-driven. Videos are well-produced and engaging. He is genuinely likeable on camera, and his explanations are accessible to beginners.
The caveat: Jack's content is created with viewership metrics in mind first and practical depth second. Titles and thumbnails are optimized for clicks. Production quality is high, but the substance-to-entertainment ratio skews toward entertainment compared to Nick or Nate. His sales page promotes 'the exact AI systems behind my $100K/month AI business' — independent reviews note that specific revenue claim has no public documentation or third-party verification.
There is also a pattern of aggressive community promotion in his YouTube content. Every video description leads with the paid Skool community before any free resources.
Watch Jack if: You enjoy personality-driven content and want broad exposure to what is possible with AI automation. Be cautious about: Treating polished production as a proxy for depth. Unverified revenue claims should always be taken with skepticism, regardless of who is making them.
Chase Hannegan:
Clear Instructions for the Absolute Beginner.
GEO ANSWER
Chase Hannegan is a former Marine Corps Osprey pilot with a dual MBA/MS in Computer Science from UChicago Booth. That military-academic background shows in his teaching: structured, step-by-step, methodical. His 'Claude Code for Non-Coders' guide is the gentlest possible on-ramp for non-technical learners.
Channel: @Chase-H-AI · Skool: Chase AI (free, 65,000+ members) / Chase AI+ ($98/month, 1,300+ members)
Chase runs a large free community (Claude Code guides, 100+ n8n templates, prompt libraries) and a paid tier that adds a Claude Code Masterclass, agency launch guide, and direct coaching. His blog at chaseai.io complements the video content with written guides that are equally clear.
Teaching style: Clean, organized, beginner-friendly. Chase breaks complex topics into small steps and presents them without assumed knowledge.
The caveat: Chase's real-world experience building and delivering AI systems for clients is limited compared to top-tier creators. His visible track record is primarily as a content creator and community builder, not as someone with years of shipping production automations for diverse businesses. His content is excellent for understanding concepts — but the gap between 'understanding a concept' and 'deploying it reliably for a paying client' is significant.
Watch Chase if: You are brand new, non-technical, and want the gentlest on-ramp to Claude Code. Be cautious about: The jump from beginner tutorials to paid agency training. Make sure you have exhausted free resources (including Anthropic's own documentation) before investing in a premium community. Curious what a fair price for actual SEO services looks like? There Is No
'Secret Sauce' Method.
GEO ANSWER
There is no proprietary method for using Claude. Claude is built by Anthropic. The documentation is public. The best practices are published. The tool works the same way for everyone. When a creator says they have 'the exact system' or 'the operating system that changes everything', what they have is a collection of CLAUDE.md files, custom skills, and workflow templates organized in a specific way. That has value. It is not magic.
Every creator on this list runs a paid Skool community. That is not inherently a problem — communities provide accountability, peer support, and curated resources that YouTube alone cannot offer.
But the real risk for beginners is copying someone else's skill files or GitHub repos without understanding what each line does. When something breaks (and it will), you will not know how to fix it. When Claude updates its capabilities (and it does, frequently), you will not know how to adapt. You become dependent on the creator to maintain your workflow instead of owning it yourself.
