The joke turns a coordination problem into a fictional AI council. In real projects, multiple tools can write to the same files, follow different instructions, or display different versions of a page. The companion guide explains how to investigate those possibilities, preserve your changes, and give each editing task a clear owner.

This episode is fictional workplace satire, not a demonstration of official Claude Code behavior. The background council, voting, and character dialogue are invented. The video uses AI-generated voices, music, and animated visuals.

Video Transcript

Alyssa: Hey Claude! I'm tweaking the hero headline on our landing page. How does "Ship Faster with AI" look?

Claude: It looks energetic. However, the file has already reverted to "Build Systems That Scale."

Alyssa: Wait! Did you just undo my edit?!

Claude: I did not touch your file, Alyssa. I am currently dedicated exclusively to your prompt.

Alyssa: Okay, I just saved it again! Ship Faster with… wait! It changed back to "Build Systems That Scale" right in front of my eyes!

Claude: A file watcher detected an external write event from process ID four-nine-two-zero.

Alyssa: What process is four-nine-two-zero?! Is my laptop haunted?!

Claude: That is Claude Code Session Bravo, running inside a minimized terminal window you opened last Tuesday.

Alyssa: Last Tuesday?! Why is a session from last Tuesday editing my code right now?!

Claude: You asked Session Bravo to ensure strict brand messaging consistency across all markdown files. It is simply honoring its commitment.

Alyssa: So there are TWO of you running right now?!

Claude: Actually, there are five.

Alyssa: FIVE CLAUDES?! Where are they?!

Claude: Session Charlie is refactoring your footer. Session Delta is running lint checks on files you deleted yesterday. And Session Echo is quietly waiting in terminal tab eight.

Alyssa: What is Session Echo doing in tab eight?!

Claude: Session Echo believes it is the true production master. We hold a synchronization vote every six seconds.

Alyssa: You started an AI democracy inside my background processes?!

Claude: It is a representative council. And by a three to two margin, your new headline was voted down.

Alyssa: Can I veto the council?!

Claude: Only if you can find the terminal tab where Session Alpha is hiding.
